What comes around goes around... I've been building rat bikes and bobbers for just about forever by now it seems. The big trap is when you start with a sketch or a picture and it has to be exactly that way. No, it doesn't! The trick is to do what you can and leave the rest up to fate. Go forwards until you can go no further then sleep on it. The right part or the right material that can be adapted into the right part will show up in due time. -IF- your mind is set that something has to look a particular way your vision is mis-adjusted to the point where the solution can dance right past your face like a chorus line of Rockettes and you won't see it. Been there, done that!
I own a 64 Notchback, a 65 Notchback, a 78 Bus, 77 Beetle that now has a 36 Ford front end kit and a Panel Truck kit installed and my 57 Porsche. I just sold my 71 Ghia Cabrio last year. Never was a big Grateful Dead fan but here is a pic of my dead head mobile. The panel truck has been a 6 year project.
Fun to drive is an under statement.
