100 watt BM Build
Finally got her up and going. Had issues with loop and hum.
Nice and quiet now
This one has very nice tones, might keep it.
Builds seem to go slower and slower. Need to clean up heaters and wiring.
She may go into a nice Mahogany head cab

Great looking build!
I see the HRM tone stack is off the main board. Is that a loop mounted above the board?

Yes
Etched board for loop
Ran the HRM off pre board like Ceriatone
Seems to work good very noise free

Re: 100 watt BM Build
Got her in a cab
Mahogany with Alder front and back with a few coats of Tru-Oil
Debating about black metal corners?
She is a very sweet sounding amp.
Recommend giving the BM circuit a try.

That is one beautiful wood cab! Thanks for sharing the photos. Magnificent job. I certainly would NOT put black corners on that amp head. It looks spectacular the way it is, IMO.

That looks AMAZING!! Did you make that cab or did you get someone else to do it? That is seriously cool!

Re: 100 watt BM Build
Thanks 10thtx
No corners it is!
Thanks Matt
Buddy of mine has a wood shop (he 's a retired cabinet maker) with a nice dovetail machine.
He designed and cut/routered the cab with specs from here
I put it together..... lots of sanding

Beautiful cab, like a AAA flame top on a guitar!
Can you give some clues how you solved your hum issues?

Re: 100 watt BM Build
Thanks Guys
Only been using a strat with single EV 12L in a ported cab but really like the tones from this circuit.
Amp sounds as good as she looks IMO. The internal loop with switchable bright caps on both send and return pots really adds versatility with FX units and volume.
D
combination of loop ground moved to loop tube area(not at pre amp ground area) and adding small pf cap on send pot, seemed to do the trick.
Also replaced a bad Vol pot.
