Technology has no end of wonder. Normally, I just delete this bit of spam as a fact-of-life as an eBay "subscriber." I'm sure everyone who browses there when logged in gets this every few days. I saved Wednesday's spam and I don't know why. Here's where it gets interesting. Every time I open it, the recommendations change. After a bit of browsing this morning it updated to include a number of items I put on my watch list.
So, this email is alive and watching you watch them watch you!
There is no longer an expectation of privacy, but this...well...I dunno. I think it's creepy.

I signed you up for that.
Kidding. I know how to stop this because I had the same problem. It's a fairly easy one-step process. Do you have a sledge.. 16lb is brilliant but even a 5lb can work.
Destroy your car. Sounds crazy but it works. Try it.
It took me a few weeks to find the right thing to destroy, but I finally found it.

NPR report last week commented on the "hall of mirrors" effect. And NSA's watching & recording the whole schmeggeggie. Can you say omniscient? Well they're all trying for it & google too. And will be as successful as Mickey was with the broom....Phil_S wrote:So, this email is alive and watching you watch them watch you!

Better behave yourself, because Santa Claus is watching! You don't want a lump of coal in your stocking.

Is that code for "don't want to end up naked in an American concentration camp"?

The US government came up with Godwin's Law to discredit us all as the sailing ship keels.
Yeah, I said it, USG. You bastards.

Hmmm...such paranoia! We gave up the right to privacy when we opened the browser. Remember this always.
I think I was impressed that they use the technology so well. Consider that so many try to use it and fail so badly. Still, it's creepy.
