Signal chain: My DIY Julia-guitar (
http://koti.welho.com/mtiilama/DIY%20Guitars.htm) with two humbuckers (Schaller+DiMarzio) into nonHRMclone (Normsters Bassman layout) into 2 x 12'' redwhiteandblues (only one speaker connected). One cheap AudioTechnica on one channel and one DIY mic on the other channel into really cheap micpre into Audiophile2496 soundcard.
First clip is ROCK on -- DEEP on -- normal input.
The other clip is JAZZ on -- DEEP on -- FET input
This seems crazy but I prefer the latter setting because of the much more clearer lower strings.
The input volume was dimed

tone settings were treble 12'o clock middle 12'o clock bass 9'o clock. Drive was 9'o clock and drive volume was dimed (if that means it is full

). Presence was 11'o clock and reverb was full. No middle boost. Feedback loop was on 44M setting.
I will try the suggestions here to get the ROCK position to have more clearer lower strings.
strat57: I played the amp at home so the master volume was at 8'o clock. The amp betters and betters when pushing it a little harder and then gives more singing tone
heistl: You are absolutely right. That is why I made these clips. I don't like at all the fizzy low notes. I'll try Your suggestion, Thanks !
Bob I: I'll check the cap on the master. You are right also. The first clip is muddier than the second (jazz+fet).
What I would like to know is what actually the RJ switch leaves out of the circuit when at Jazz-position ? On normal input I dont like the Jazz position at all.
Normster: Ok You got it too
Thanks for Your input everyone
