Help with printing labels on decal paper

Post by mcrracer »

Hey guys need some major helpLast Wed my vision took a major turn for the worse in my only "good". My printer is also down. I used to print my labels for my front and rear panel...volume, bass, speakers, 4 ohm , etc on my laser printer using water slide decal paper. I have a few amps I need to put labels on while I still can see some. The doctors are setting me up for surgery but wiyh no guarantees. I have plenty of the decal paper and will send it to you to print on. email me for details please. I have my soon read my emails to me. I am trying the best I can to make this post.

If you use an inkjet printer then you have to topcoat the ink with lacquer to prevent it from running when you put the decal in water.

I have done a few of these but to tell you the truth they never look that great.

What I would suggest is that you have the decals printed by a copy or print shop using a laser printer.
The laser ink apparently is water proof so you don't have to treat the paper before you apply the decal.

Hope this helps.

Not sure how he did them but Heisthl has made some really nice looking stick-on faceplates.
