i have a vox ac30 style amp. i love the tone i can get from it.its a clean machine so how do i put a dumble overdrive sound in the amp? my amp is 4 el84 based , ef86 pre amp , 12ax7 phase , 12at7 reverb, 5ugb rec. what can we work out....

Personally I'd get a Dumble style pedal and leave the amp alone. Look into the Zen and Fuchs Plush pedal. Last I heard both are readily available with no wait list.

Short of a total rebuild, likely new PT, OT, tubes, and everything else...Wait, you need a new amp...It would be cheaper and easier that way.
Get a pedal, or find a new amp.
