Truly appreciate it. No, after the Sozo caps broke in they actually got brighter and somewhat lost the darkening effect that I liked about them.
Not to say they didn't still sound great, but initially they had a pretty dramatic effect on the EQ but that opened up later on. When I tried the amp live with the Sozo setup (which was less filtering I'll admit) it was almost too compressed live and didn't quite have enough punch. I guess it really needs the 80uf setup. I put the stock Mallory caps back in the circuit and that is what you are hearing, a totally stock circuit throughout. I'll probably try the Sozos electrolytics again later if they start to make values more appropriate for a Wreck. For now my two 100uf Sozos will end up in my Superbass.

Glen I received your CD today. My grandson and I rocked out to it just now. Fantastic arrangements and what a beautiful tone.
I suggest anyone that has heard Glen's youtube stuff should get the CD, turn up the volume knob, kick back and enjoy.
Thanks Glen,
Mark
