Make sure u have the welding glasses on when u plug it in.

One observation:

You should fix the lead dress on the preamp tube sockets. The plate and cathode wires should run together, and the V1a and V2a cathode wires should wrap around the back of the socket (check out the pics of #124 or any of the other layouts on the site). I know it sounds kind of silly but it makes a HUGE difference in the sound and feel of the amp!

I can maybe see it making a slight deference but I dought it would make a huge impact on the tone and feel.. :shock:

I may try this to see if it makes a deference.

I just re-wired the pre tube sockets and I really can't hear much of a change. After a couple of day's I will report any changes in tone.
