It actually has less noise after I added the VVR. One other thing I noticed is the ghosting is eliminated at lower settings.

So its a real easy install on the VVR. I have the VVR3 board.... its ground and the B1 connection at the standby.... is that right. I will do the resistors and caps later if I find any scratchiness at the vol pots.
