On a more serious note, now that I have settled on the tribute look, I will not be using the faceplates that came with the kit. If anyone wants them I am happy to part with them for free provided you pickup the mailing costs. I am based in Japan and these things should fit in a regular Letter size envelope and travel as regular mail so cost should be minimal. If anyone wants them just PM me. I have 2 and first come first serve!
Those look Beautiful. My brother keeps telling me I need to put one of mine in a TW style cab. Yours are very cool and I agree they would look better with black knobs.
I am not sure about the 2 women comment though. After 34 years of marital bliss, the last thing I need in my life is ANOTHER woman
Thanks for your compliments. The idea came from you and I executed so credits go back to you. How is your brother doing? I hope his hand is recovering nicely. Hope we can get some recorded clips on your site soon from him.
By the way, did you ever manage to host the updated build instructions somewhere on your site?
PS... I am on the same boat as you wrt to marital bliss... Don't know how we sidetracked on the thread.
I emailed you today about the costs of a kit and separate cab. If you get the cabs made for you then I would have thought the total cost might be higher than your current fully built cost.
As an aside, MCK put me onto your product. I am also a member of the FutureGuitarNow forum.
Dana's got a Lil Devil kit headed my way. He is amazingly easy to deal with!!!!
I started watching this thread with the first post then got busy with a move. It is great to see the momentum behind this idea. I recently completed a Lite IIb with the addition of a VVR. Being very impressed with the versitility the VVR added to that amp I'm eager to hear the Lil Devil. The Lite IIb or the Lil Devil is headed to my brother as a gift and I'll keep the other. Anyone care to speculate on which goes where and why?
Mark F has been providing some insight helping guide me to my next build. It's starting to look like a Rocket. Thanks very much Mark for your insight! It's all fun. Also much thanks to everyone here who has contributed!

And would give you the shirt off his back if it helped you get good tone
He's about the most unselfish person I know... but then, again, he is a good ole Kentucky boy
Was ok last time I played it in the morning. Turned it back on, pilot light comes on but no sound. I check all connections and they look ok. Then after about 10 seconds or so pilot light goes out. Checked fuse, its blown. Can smell some electronics. Replaced the fuse, removed reconnected speaker etc and gave it another go. After about 10-15 seconds it blows the fuse and no sound. Letting it cool off for now but wondering where I should start the troubleshooting.
Any ideas based on the symptoms? Thanks in advance.
