Two new Glaswerks incoming! New models.....

Post by dogears »

After a long three year wait, my new Glaswerks are on the way. My current Glaswerks is the rat prototype for the Super Overdrive. I kept giving up my spot on the list in order to get the first of the upcoming new models. Finally they are here...... Here are some pics. I'll have the amps on Thursday. Both are serial number 1.

One is the new Super Overdrive II. The other is Gary's stripped down version that is a "DeLeo" voicing. More Fender on steroids... No HRM. He can do any voice in the stripped down chassis fwiw. I post detailed thoughts after I receive them.

Sweet! :D

That SODII looks killer!

So one clean channel and two OD channels?

So you could have a separate lead boost if you wanted, eh?

SODII has two independent OD channels with dedicated 12AX7 tubes. The tubes are setup for optimal tone based on HRM and non HRM. Different biasing, snubbers, grid resistors. So, the front controls independently set the gain and master for both a Bluesmaster style HRM and a non HRM with a treble cut circuit and rudimentary bass control as well.

All boosts and channels are switchable in real time with a 5 button foot switch.

Really impressive 8)

Are the send/return knobs on the SODII to adjust an internal dumbleator or is it a solid-state loop?

Any chance for gut shots?

It is a tube based loop similar to the dlator. A few changes to increase headroom.

Sure here is the Ovdrive deluxe. I won't be posting the SOD II, there is some special stuff in there that I would like to my self as long as possible. Hope you understand.
