Help with Speaker Identification please

Post by mick »

I'm hoping someone here may be able to shed a little light as to the manufacturer of these 10" speaker's, I picked them up about 5 years ago, I think ( but I really can't remember now) I was told that they were taken out of a Rivera guitar amp and that they were EV's. I do know that there 8 Ohm but apart from that there's no markings as to a make or model number, also they weigh a tonne.

Thanks for any help
Mick

....and didn't sound remotely like a 12L contrary to what some would say.

Wow that was quick, I should have checked this thread last night, thank you guy's that really helps. :D

So the force series were all 8 ohm at 150w.

So I guess the next question is what sort of cab these would work best in ? and would they be good for a guitar cab or would they serve a low watt bass amp better ? at the moment I'm just trying to find thing's to do with thing's I bought when I had money.

Cheers Mick
