That's a nice board. If you think that it would be too "purdy" for one of your guitar amps, I'll take it off your hands. I'm sure a liverpool would look frickin awesome in a Koa home!
heh...here's a few brothers and sisters of roosters board...thought that one looked familiar  some birdseye koa lurking in my stash....

Stevie - Yeah, you got the Motherload there! 8) No, I cannot bring myself to make a head case out of piece I have. Somehow, someway, and somewhere, there is a project that is calling for this wood. Someday then. For now, everytime I see a piece of pretty cool Koa, I just smile, you know? :)

Hey, Stevie, when are we hooking up? Maybe this week, Thursday? I will call.

Rooster, The Koa neck on my Trussart guitar is one of the sweetest playing necks I've ever had the good fortune to play. It looks like you have a thick enough piece for a neck.

Great wood nonetheless. It's apparently becoming scarce too. Bummer.

NG - Hey, you know? I never thought about a neck. That's a good idea. Yeah, this wood and Stevie's, all came from the same source. It's been air dried at least 16 years that I know of, so pretty stable that way. And its harder than a f'ing rock. Hmm. I'm gonna think about this. Thanks for the suggestion, NG! :D
