The definitive youtube clip(s)

Post by jjman »

Pardon my ignorance bit this is my first entry into the Dumble section. In the Trainwreck section I’m sure most would agree that Glen’s youtube postings are not only fantastic but are probably the best examples of how great a Trainwreck can sound.

So I did some searching on youtube recently for Dumble clips and watched about 50 or so of the most watched. I’m wondering if there are any particular clips on youtube than most would consider to be fantastic and definitive of the Dumble sound. I’m thinking of overdriven tones BTW and looking for actual real Dumbles.
If it says "Vintage" on it, -it isn't.

I really like this one.

It's a real Dumble.

I can't remember if we determined if it is a HRM or not.

But killer tone.

Heheheh, yeah good ol Henry!

He sure made some wild sounds!

I remember at the Gear Page somebody posted that video.
You should heard the cork sniffers go after him about that.

The crystal lattice and electrons in a vacuum!

I think this nails good Dumble tone. Mind you he should of have scantily clad women in his clip

That is the norm, right?

I absolutely hate those Henry Kaiser clips, whoever he may be.
semi interlectual bs.
Those RF clips are great though and so is the David Lindley stuff. Not 100% sure if it's a Dumble actually.

and how about Sonny Landreth

The other guy in the Henry Kaiser vid was also playing a Dumble, but I'm sure he wouldn't know how they're supposed to sound

Henry Kaiser on that clip reminds me of me playing at an early age w/ my mom coming into the room telling me to "turn that damn thing down". LOL

I really like the LC / RF, Sonny and Gregor clips for their own unique tone.
