effects settings

Post by zimm »

I recently picked up an intellifex effects unit. Pretty new to the whole effects processor thing. Anyone familiar with these units and can give me some advice as to what settings they are using with their units, particularly the delay settings? Im running my HRM BM deville through a home made d'lator and the intellifex. Thanks for any help!

Have been using the following "custom" patch for over a decade now... Hope it helps you.

You're welcome. It's kind of interesting that many folks turn their nose up at the old Intellifex; however, barring the TC 2290, nothing else (Lexicon, other TC stuff, etc.) I have ever hears sounds "better" than the Intellifex. By the way, the patch is optimzed for use with a continuous MIDI controller, which I seldom if ever do anymore. Without one, you get reverb and ducked delay, which I use all the time. With a CC, the way the parameters are set up, you can turn the chorus ON (default is off), turn the delay ducker OFF (default is on), make the delay time longer, the reverb level louder, etc.

Enjoy,

Gil
