Dumble knobs

I've put this type on one of my amps before.

I read the H-C review on that amp. The reviewer said it was really stiff

On that one I used a curve tracer to make sure things were up to spec.....

I bet it played really well, too...????

You've got to be awfully careful with these - they break into ear-piercing oscillations if you try to run them in stereo

Actually, if you find the right pair, they work out great in stereo!

looks the part, but doesn't appear as if they ship outside the UK.
.78 ea unless you buy 25 then the price drops to ~ .65 ea.

the good news is that Rapid will ship world wide. the bad news is that the minimum order is L25 Sterling. unfortunately, it gets worse. 54 units would also require a shipping cost of L65 + L15 VAT. (total L105)

Probably cheaper to go with the variety Structo came up with.

Seriously though, I'll be making some orders here in the UK and if I need something from Rapid, I'll let you know and I can add your knobs to my order. Can't promise anything yet.

This is exactly the situation us guys in Europe face! My $6 sheet of garolite ended up costing nearly $100. It's a real PITA.

i now have examples of both offerings as mentioned earlier (no... not her, sorry )
the unit from Surplus Sales is on the left in all pix. thanks to Guitarman18 i got some from Rapid without the requirements of minimum order, exorbitant shipping nor VAT. they are are nearly identical (read; "close enough for the girls i go out with") the Rapid units ran ~ $2 each DELIVERED for an order of 16 pieces. this number would drop for a larger order. thanks again Guitarman18!!!
