Videos and Sounds with my Bludotone (Gregor HIlden)
Hi Folks at the Amp Garage, I made some clips with my Bludotone with different guitars. I hope you like it. I got the amp a couple of days ago - it is a great amp. Brendon was very kind to install a european voltage on this one and build me a matching cab. I put in an old EV-12 L wich works great!

Amp sounds great. Nice playing . .

Nice, how do you think it compares to the ODS you had previously?
Got any pictures of the amp and cab?

Killer tones, nothing even nit-picky to find fault with, just overall great! I'm relieved to know you're not still playing the Ceriatone. I'm betting this amp is easier to play than the "real" one you used to own.

Thanks a lot. Comparing to the original Dumble I've had, the Bludotone reacts very similar on the attack from the guitar. I have not played the Dumble since 3 Month or so. It is a little bit difficult to judge the differences without comparing next to the Bludo (with a same Cab in the same room). All the best, Gregorheisthl wrote:Killer tones, nothing even nit-picky to find fault with, just overall great! I'm relieved to know you're not still playing the Ceriatone. Hi Tom, the Bludotone is very similar on the attack from the guitar than the Dumble and very smooth. It is a great alternative. Here are some pics. All the best, GregorStructo wrote:Nice, how do you think it compares to the ODS you had previously?

Also great to hear you play with so many different guitars!

Is the cab open or closed back?
Re: Videos and Sounds with my Bludotone (Gregor HIlden)
As far as I know, D circuits that have e.g. 220k/150k plate resistors are referred to as "high plate" (in contrast to 100k plate resistors).GregorHIlden wrote:sorry, what is high-plate?markusw wrote:Cool! Thanks!

The only critism I would have is that you seem to have lost some of the bloom and texture without the TeddyBear mic holder.
