Skyline's first implementation...

Post by FuzzFaceBuilder »

Hey all,
I've been digging around, using the search function, but I still haven't found out when the Skyline EQ was first implemented/introduced. So, if you (all) wouldn't mind, when was it introduced again?

Thanks so much,
Hale

I have reports of an amp from about '77-79 with that tonestack. At that time HAD has build amps with several different versions of the tonestack. It seems that he has tried a lot of ways to get the sound he wanted. 8)

Thanks so much Jelle! I'm surprised that it was introduced that long ago ! In my limited knowledge, if seems like a trait of HAD's blackface amps. But, all the way back to the late 70's! That's great!

Thanks so much!
