express impedance switch wiring question
hey guys- i am making some good progress on my express build, but i am honestly stumped on the correct wiring for the impedance switch. i am using the impedance selector from the BOM, FYI. i understand that the OT secondaries are going to lugs 7,8,9 on the switch (16,8,4 ohms respectively). there are also jumpers from lugs 7,8,9 to lugs 1,2,3. this much i understand. on the layout, it also shows a black jumper from a lug next to lug 7 with a jumper going to a lug next to lug 1, and also a black lead (which is the power lead?) from the lug next to lug 7 to the positive lead on the speaker jack. my question is this- my switch has secondary lugs behing lugs 5,9, and 1, not 7. on the francesca pics it seems to show these secondary lugs oriented differently(the same as the layout). i don't understand how i can wire this switch so i can be sure the impedances are correct. also- the pin that goes in the back fell out and i don't remember how that was oriented either. would someone mind explaining this to me? again i thank the people who are cool with helping in advance. MP

Re: express impedance switch wiring question
The safest way to be sure is to break out your DMM and check for continuity between the lugs of the switch while turning the switch, probably not the answer you were looking for but... even if I was copying the layout to the T, personally I would still check just to be sure...
