Smokin' Tone,
Please excuse my booze addled manners.
You're right, these search engines are hurtin' for certain.
I'm not typically a bossy cunt either. I thought the topic was discussed as recently as a month or so and I can't find it now. The trimpot in Francesca & the "Tribute" amp are wired as variable resistors although the major concensus was to "tie" lugs #1 & #2 together and maintain bias if ever there was a catastrophic failure.
I'm going to read the previous posts for the last 6 months and try to provide the link for you.
BTW, my PS board looked a lot better before I ripped out the original bias pot wiring scheme.

I wasn't trying to single you out with my reply. I frequent a few forums and it is pointed out everywhere that you should try the search function. I was just suggesting that maybe he had tried but the results returned did not answer the question. Thanks for offering to find the post but I don't need it myself. I already know how to do this. I have been building and repairing for several years. I officially know enough to be dangerous.
Yeah, I'm a few years into to it but I'll probably remain a mere Solder Jockey. I could probably put my eye out picking my nose but with every successful build I can wrench my arm patting myself on the back.
Example: Tying lugs 1 & 2 is a variable resistor. I had that nomenclature fully flipped.
No more instructicashums from me for a while, I promise.
