Ok, i am a relative newb to electrical knowledge and want to learn. Whats a good place to start?

A lot of people started with the P1 theory document at AX84.com. The audio classroom series at http://www.audioxpress.com/resource/aud ... /index.htm is also good.

thanks, also, i cant open the BOM for the express, does anyone have it in a different format or can post it on here?

Or, you can install this for free: Microsoft Excel Viewer if you are using Windows.

Or you can download and install an open source equivalent to Usoft Office called Open Office:http://www.openoffice.org/

I would also go to Aikens site http://www.aikenamps.com(under Tech Info - Introductory) and printout the Glossary of Common Amplifier Terms. It's more than your typical glossary; he throws in quite a bit of practical and theoritical expansions for most terms.
