I didn't think I would care for white tolex but that is one good looking amp. Great work as usual. :)

Yes 2 x 6L6s.. This was kinda one of Niks first Kits, probably before any of these had came out yet... just now getting time to put it together.

Thats where the fun began. I'm using Niks power tranny..those seem to be fine. Played it all day breaking it in, and it doesn't get warm.
The choke is one that he sent. I have some old stancor chokes that i like.
The OT is a fender,with 4 8 16 ohm..taps 60 watter.

I changed quite a bit..so it would be more in line with things i was seeing.
The tube sockets are 180 degs different than Niks layout. For those who have built some of these, you'll see those differences along the way. The Dumbles are the opposite from Niks layout..same as some of the small boards..those are a bit different.. other than that.. the fun is in the fine tuning.
I Built it first pretty much the stock 124 way.. then messed with making some changes.. It may not be like any other amp..but it sounds good to me.. I wanted more balance between the clean to mean.

yes the white tolex..just wanted to do something different.. silver piping, and the white knobs.. And had the faceplate made.. no ODS.Overtone etc.. or anything on the panel..

Its fun to play.. :)
