Slidewinder-Any ideas?

Post by moj067 »

As a Michael Landau nut, I'm curious to know what these might be more like. A ODS or a SSS or some kind of combo of both.
Happy New Year to all reading!

Moj,
Being a Landau freak myself I started the post Jimib was kind enough to provide a link for. If you read the posts, Brandon of Bludotone points out it's nothing more than a tweed bassman circuit........ As far as mods to the circuit I don't know........

I have a picture of the front of the amp, and if you look close, It seems to follow a tweed style amp.....polarity switch, fuse, on/off, standby ...etc

Here's the picture.

What do you think???
Thanks
Chris

Thanks, I remember reading that thread now. I think Brandon sort of sealed it w/ his reply in that thread. Just a one-off amp for a cool client type of thing I guess.

I don't think it was a 1 off, Pretty sure Bonnie Raitt had one too, unless it's the same one?

I was talking to Paul @ Mercury Mag.. I don't know about a year ago as he frequently visits the big guy..He said he was working on a Bassman style one off amp for a high profile player..Can't remember if he said the name Sidewinder but sounds farmiliar...You have to wonder if these famous players are itching to get into a Dumble so maybe these magazine's will hopefully do more interviews with em...Oh! you have a Dumble how about telling us about it..
