I'm hacking my way through a head shell made out of cheap poplar. It kind of reminds me of the spice rack that Homer Simpson built for Marge. Anyways, it's coming out better than I thought, thanks to the miricle of wood filler. It's the "photoshop" of the novice woodworking world.

I'll post some pics in the next day once my poly finish dries ... but in the meantime I'd be interested in seeing everyone elses home brew cabs.

I'd like to add, in case anyone here doesn't remember...
Two self-appointed KF shithouse lawyer types named Rheingold and Rocket started a lot of trouble last year here. The day they either quit the forum or were thrown off, Chimeboss signed on a a newbie. I asked if he was either of the two come back to cause more trouble. Chimeboss I've reviewed your posts since you joined. Besides your "holier than thou, I'm looking out for KF interests" attitude here, you haven't contributed anything of value since becoming a member. I will ask that all members review Chimeboss' posts and make up your own mind! I see it starting all over again

Im sure Ken could care less about the logo unless you tried to sell the amp as a Wreck and we all know thats not going to happen.

As a matter of fact I was the one who gave the approx dimensions of the logo some time ago.

I am all for building personal copies of amps that are now well out of the reach of the average joe. Using the same brand of caps, transformers, lead dress, cabinet shape, materials is all fine by me.....but I personally draw the line at an exact logo.
I have a photo somewhere at home of a fantastic Dumble clone that is exact except that right next to the DUMBLE in small print it says "NOT BY". To the average punter in the audience it looks like the real thing....but will never be sold to some unsuspecting clown for 5 figures as the real thing.

I think you will find that Allyns logo is a piece of paper stuck on the front, I think even the most unsuspecting punter would not fall for that one.
