I know the layout of a Dumble amp is very critical. But has anyone had succes with alternative layouts, solderlugs, true p2p etc?
I've seen the ver nice layouts of Normster, but has anyone tried "something different" with a good result?
Thanks

Not yet, but I'm seriously thinking of trying a Hiwatt layout for a 100watt Dumble. Maybe something like this...

I did a very unique (for a Dumble) layout that included a Dumbleator and one tube reverb. It was my main gigging amp until a bad tube blew the OT. There's a new one in there but I've lost confidence in it. We'll see.
