OD Level, OD Ratio - lin or log?

Post by xk49w »

The schematics show linear but it looks like a log application. I've ordered both lin and log, but has someone tried both to compare the difference in control feel?

I would keep the drive a linear. The schematics show linear for the level/ratio as well, and I believe most real deals use linear there. Personally, I prefer a log there.

The drive is the trimmer right? Linear it is. As to real deal, this amp is going to be a long way from that (AO-35 based).

No, the OD entrance is a trimmer, the drive is between stages 3 and 4
