250pf for 500pf

anyone replace the 500pf cap in the tone stack for a 250pf? Likes, dislikes? I would try it myself but don't have any 250pf caps on hand. thanks

I started with 250 and switched to 500 and kept it. 250 was fine playing alone but needed 500 for cutting thru with others.

I guess I kind of figured that. These things do have a certain "cut" to them that sounds great in a mix, a little over powering all by it's lonesome

You can always just use half of it to get 250pf. I do that with my medication all the time to make the prescription last longer.

(In case you haven't noticed, I am going for the "Forum Idiot of the Year Award." I think I am a solid contender).

Funny thing, others have been telling me to go back to full dosage too. But see, with all the money I save I can buy more Dale/Vishay brownies!
