So you had this problem...swapped out the socket and the problem remained...then removed/cleaned the socket and that did it?
That's so weird...I can't tell you how many times I've thought "it's gotta be the socket...everything else has been checked" and I'll swap out the socket...and it's never the socket.

Did you discover exactly what was wrong with it?
To tell the truth, Nope... he he he he he
maybe the reiwiring did it
but now Im having a problem on Over Drive channel ?
when I swithed on the Overdrive the volume is very low..
I agree - something is weird here. Can you tell us WHY the "rewire" fixed it? (Especially if it is true that replacing the socket did not fix it.) What was the actual problem? Was the "rewire" wired differently than before?
You really won't get significantly different suggestions for your OD problem. Check each cathode circuit to ensure correct values and solid grounding. Check each plate circuit to ensure appropriate voltage and values. Check the pots and relays to ensure proper signal flow. Just trace the signal flow and find where you screwed up.
Wife: How many amps do you need?
Me: Just one more...
Anyway , as a member stated once, walk away and come back to it tommorrow, maybe you can then go over it again w/ fresh eyes.
It's worked for me many times only to find a dumb mistake I made.
Also, take some different angled pics of that pre-amp section.
Try rewiring the Overdrive tube socket.. Just kidding... If you used my layout I know it is correct..(excluding the FET) I just finished my 3rd amp last night using that layout so it has been tested.. All 3 amps fired right up and operated correctly right out of the blocks...
Also make sure your trimmer is turned up.. Can't tell you how many times if forgotten that...
Every time I think it's the socket and rewire a new one in it's always been something else.. Your lucky....
