Source for Boards

Post by strato17 »

Does anyone know a source for boards that I could use with a #124 ODS build? I was thinking ceriatone, but shipping is a pricey considering it is shipping across the globe. Turret or eyelet would be fine.

Thanks for the help!

You could just get on Ken Watts site and get the stuff to roll your own.
Then use the board layouts ICRacer generously provided in the files section. If not I think there's a guy in the For sale section offering his services.
I'm sure you'll find a way to keep the labor here on this side of the ocean.

I have a complete set from Ceriatone that I ended up not using and would be willing to part with. PM me if interested.

Greetings,

There was a mention, even some picutres, on this forum, that also FORMICA boards have been used in amps. Since formica is more readily available (is it the same material that the kitchen cabinets and such are covered with in some instances?) in some quarters, one wanders what kind of boards are those really? Is there any description, and what are their electric properties, and also would they split if one applied force used to set turrets into formica?
