Check my relay layout?

Post by JamesO »

Hey guys

The ever-helpful Mark Roberts and Gil Ayan have been big helps with the final stages of my Bluesmaster. It looks like Brandon's relay boards are just a bit different than the very helpful pictures Mark sent me. Can you guys check my work so far on the OD relay and help fill in the holes? This is for a Bluesmaster using Brandon's boards.

Hi James I don't know if this will help but you need to have the wiper of the bass pot connected to the right leg when not in PAB mode.

Here is a drawing that shows how Deric connected his relays.

I'm not sure if your boards are the same. I believe these are Amp Doc's relays.

By the way the cable ( one with the ?) from the middle lug of the Master goes to the .02uf cap that feeds the PI pin 2.

This is a HRM amp, it's not wired like a Non-HRM.
It has dual masters, one for clean, one for OD.
Different animal- your OD vol Ctr. lug goes to pin 6.
I'll forward you a PM on the rest.

Hey Gil

I've had a really packed week as well. A few papers due for my Special Ed. program. I'm going to start re-drawing the layout to post in the files section now that I have it down.
