Dumble ODS #94

Post by Markus »

Hi, guys, I´d like to introduce myself. I´m a German semiprofessional musician, playing guitar and act as a singer in some bands. I´m the new owner of the Dumble ODS No. #94. I bought the great amp from Gregor Hilden some weeks ago. Most times I play the ODS with a Gibson ES-335 and a 1971 Telecaster. The second amp I use a lot is a Two Rock Custom Reverb Signature (50 watt). I like the sound of this amp with my Stratocater Guitar.
I will produce a new CD in the studio next year. If the songs are ready, I´ll show you a link here on "Amp Garage".
Sorry for my "German English"!

Welcome, Markus.

Congrats on the amp.

I look forward to hearing your work and, just as significantly, hearing about how you achieve your sound - whether the amp requires adjustments to your guitars and playing style, etc.

Rest assured that your "German-English" is far better than any attempts I could make at "English-German". In fact, I remember visiting Germany about 40 years ago and trying to make my way using sign language. I was happy to find so many Germans that knew more English than I knew German (especially since I was the one visiting their country) and that they had such a great sense of humor about it.

Cheers!

Markus,
Welcome! Are you interested in discussing the circuitry inside your amps?

JimiB, I´m a musician not a technician. In clear words: I don´t have any knowhow in technical things - so I´m not able to discuss such things with the experts here in the forum. Sorry for that!

I´ll take some photos in the next weeks and show you the inside of the amp, o.k.? But I think there was a discussion about the ODS #94 some months ago in this forum!

Thnx! That's more than ok. Nice thing that you are willingly to share pics after paying such a large amount of money for it!
#94 was discussed here before, but some high resolution pics of the amp could shed some detailed light on it's design.

When Gregor had it on Ebay there was a gut shot.
