Very Nice!
Is this based on the Dumbleator?

That looks very cool. I'd like to understand better what the ins and outs are doing. I'd like to drive a small stereo power amp into some small speakers. I heard this rig at the amp show in Andy Fuchs' booth. Amazing sound. Would this unti drive that?

Nice work!
Do you notice that the DC heaters make it quieter? I tried it and didn't see enough difference to make it worth the trouble.

Hi Bob, yes this is a stereo unit. I have an old Peavey 60/60 power amp that it drives very nicely.Bob-I wrote:That looks very cool. I'd like to understand better what the ins and outs are doing. The unit is a MONO send to the effects unit and has left / right inputs and outputs from the Effects unit to two amps or a stereo power amp.

Well yes and no. The difference is measurable on an oscilloscope but hardly a noticeable difference in the audio output. But since this is another link in the chain I felt better about having a clean filament source.

Cool. I was thinking more like a 20 watt chip but if it drives the 60/60 it'll drive that.glasman wrote:Hi Bob, yes this is a stereo unit. I have an old Peavey 60/60 power amp that it drives very nicely.

Sweet work!

Beautiful with a capital B, and I'm sure it's sound matches it's looks. What's your asking price for these to the masses?

Haven't sat down and calculated the margin yet. But probably less that 3Kheisthl wrote:Beautiful with a capital B, and I'm sure it's sound matches it's looks. What's your asking price for these to the masses?

Re: And speaking of loops...
Thanks Les, got the commercially made boards in yesterday and they turned out great. Built two sets of boards last night for the first two Match Boxes. Probably get them finished over the weekend. Just need to punch the racks chassis and assemble.les_guitar wrote:Beautiful work Gary! Looks like a great extension to the Glaswerks family!
