Switchable features on both non-HRM and HRM

Post by rob@tele »

I'm planning both a non-HRM and a HRM build and before I finalise the chassis and front panel layout, I was wondering what else I could switch besides bright - mid boost - rock/jazz - PAB - OD. For the non-HRM switching the FB of v1b is a logical choise. But what else would be nice switchable tweaks on both the non-HRM and the HRM.

As I want to control both amps using MIDI, I have a total of 7 switches available in my current MIDI interface design. I have already a proto type of a MIDI interface using an Atmel ATmega micro processor and it works great! I am willing to share the c-code of the midi interface, so send me a PM if you are interested.

Best regards,

What else do you want to switch? The limit is that of your creativity. Personally I'd be interested in switching effects in and out of the loop. I have 3 presets I use on my Quadraverb plus I'd like to use more devices in the loop, but I don't want to keep them in the loop all the time.

The midi controller would be a cool way of doing things. You might think about allowing it to control simple on/off switches so that you could use it without modding the amp.
