Still need to power it up but I think I am ready at this point.
This is one of the group builds that RJ was kind enough to head up. I decided to do the cap stack and make a preamp board.
Still need to look at securing the chassis in a cab - probably will use nutserts...
A few pics. You cannot see the link from the treble to the bass pot but it is there....honest.
Managed to check basic voltages without tubes last night. I have voltages where I expect to see them so I should be sticking some startup tubes in over the next few days.
Keep trying to get a variac so I can tame down my incoming but I keep getting outbid....
Fired up the rocket with some startup tunes in it. Didn't really play with it too much. Gets crunchy after 1 -2 '0' clock. Certainly not as "offensive" as the Liverpool.
I believe the only non standard items on the build are 1k screens and the coppertop.
If anything stands out to anyone, please let me know. As it is, I don't see much other than the hot biasing on the output.

Thanks Noel.
I have learnt a great deal from this forum in the last year or so. If I can make the same kind of progress recording clips, you might get to hear something half decent
Thanks very much. I'm pleased with the build and with all the legwork you did to provide a good base, it came together quite nicely. Thanks for heading it up.
I will post more clips as they get done.
