OD footswitch only

Hello, my amp has just one switch which is for the OD. How would I wire it up for a 5-pin midi cord? I saw the post for an OD and PAB double footswitch but I only need the OD. Thanks all!

Just don't use two of the five wires. Of the other wires use one for the switch, one for your LED and one to ground.

If you are only using OD you can either go 1/4" and use the switch to ground the relay circuit, or use and xlr mic cable (or 1/4" TRS). Otherwise, if you already are set to go with 5 pin din or midi, like tubedogsmith said, just use the wires you need. Although, if you are using a 5 pin connector why not add in the PAB? But to each his own.

I had put the footswitch project on hold but now I'll go with the 1/4". Thanks!
