BEST DISTRUBITOR TO STOCK UP ON PARTS

Post by selloutrr »

If you were to make a very large parts order who would you purchase from? who has the best bulk rate?
resistors by the 100 ct min
Caps by at least 10 ct. for high Voltage
and 25-50 for small PF and Ceramic's

I'm all about giving money to the little guy but honestly for an order this size i can't see a reason to pay the middle man, his cut could be used to cover the shipping and possibly have money left over to buy beer.

So far i've had luck with Mouser and digikey, I'm rather dissapointed with Allied Elec. they have raised the price almost 200% in the last 7 months and don't offer 10ct discounts. how is newark one? Grainger seems like a good place for nuts and bolts in bulk.

mouser and digikey for basic things in bulk...... ammo boxes and reels
it depends on what your getting of course...... allied is pretty good but
seem to focus on electro-mechanical parts...... newark can pretty steep
and you really need to be well establised $$$$$ .... maybe not so good for
the little guy..... no matter who you go with try to make the price points
you will end up with a back inventory..... but it will be bought and paid for
and if you keep current with the suppliers prices youll make a little as they
increase over time.... watch the shipping, it might deside for you...
