Tuning a 1x12 cab

I think i have got a handle on this now.

Yes I'm going for a 1x12. Just that I find a 2x12 too heavy to carry around.I do prefer a two speakers they seem to disperses better across the stage. And most 1x12 amps I have used are quite beamy.
I hoping this sort of treatment to a 1x12 box will help

I know that HAD used EVs and Altecs etc. So I was trying to get an idea how the blackbird would react.
Interestingly on the SRO EV on Rob's site the T/S are on the speaker. I can't quite read the numbers.
I'm not sure what the other Ev is.

Now you got me wondering how these specs change with say :

EV SRO
EVM12L
Celestion 12-65
Red white and Blue etc....

I'll model an EVM12L in that cab for you. Judging by the pictire, I would say the port length is closer to 150mm than 100mm, so I will model that combo.

EVM12L HAD112.
As you can see, this driver suits this cab design much better than the Jensen.
I built a theile cab a while back using an EVM12L, and like it a lot.
