Loop Choke to Precede 15K

Post by UltraHookedOnPhonix »

After seeing Brandons Dlator II pics, I'm not so sure anymore that the 15K resistor in some Mono Dlators is to be replaced with a choke but is intended to directly follow the choke. Looking at Robben's Dlator which we've all probably seen, we can still see the 15K resistor on the board
with the choke wires running to the top of the boards so that it can preceeds the resitor.

Also, the Dlator II uses both.

Minor point perhaps...thoughts?

It could be the 100K dropping resistor. I have seen a couple of Dlators with chokes, neither had the 15K resistor. Probably HAD built different variations of the beast. :)

When I zoom in on the picture I can see a brown-green-orange-red reading from left to right. The green band is the thinnest but a 100K resistor does not have orange in it and I can definately make out the orange band in the middle.

It's tough to discern though! :)
