Hello all, I'm out of 1uf film caps so can I use a 1uf electrolytic cap on the presence control? Thanks!

Absolutely!! I prefer them Just get the polarity right or they will scratch on you.. My Faves are the Mallory 150"S Then a good Sprague Electo...

The real deals used most often eletrolytics and less often tant's for the 1u0 presence controls.

For A smoother flavor Oil filled are kind of cool there.. This is the only place I would use an oil filled cap...Built one with all Angela Oils Sucked!!!
