Actually, it depends on how long Rons are. The one's I used before were clarostat; fed the buss bar straight thru the end hole in the lug. It made the buss bar ride too low for my taste; below the level of the preamp board. Ended up adding a second one in about the same location as the one in the pics.

Re: Express Build Tips
The lugs I have are long enough on a PEC pot to make the 90 degree bend around the pot housing and stick up with plenty of room for the copper wire to be run through it. They worked extremely well IMHO.... See the pic....

Re: Express Build Tips
Ok I am almost finished with the amp, but I still need to find a few parts...
- I need a strain relief for the 18 awg power cable.(Allyn Chassis, I can get dimensions of power cable hole if needed)
- I need a pilot light.
Anyone know where to get these?

Re: Express Build Tips
Strain reliefs should be available at any local electronics store like Radio Shack, I think... but if not, our friends at mouser have them. FYI, I had to ream the power cable restraint hole on Allyn's chassis for my cable... I used a 16 AWG cable, if I recall correctly.... It's a 2 amp fuse, so 18 AWG should be OK...
I think that Allyn Meyers may have the correct pilot lights..
