FET Board...

Post by v00d00blues79 »

Does anyone have a close-up picture of their completed FET board or a layout they could post of the FET board that came with the Funk chassis? I'm trying to finish mine up and thats the last item on the list.

Thanks!

Hi Andy,
My amp happens to be on the bench today, so I snapped a couple pictures... I hope it gives you enough information... it is a tight squeeze around that area!
The components changed a bit in the final pic due to biasing the FET.

Good luck with it... one more caution... ignore the wiring of the input jack in the older picture, I made a dumb error when I first assembled it and got the wiring wrong... you can see it changes in the newer pic.

So Sorry Andy!! I went and took pics when we talked, and then my computer at home took a dump, I got it fixed and completely spaced your pic!

FWIW, if you use a 13E Jack (Isolated break, all metal) it's not such a tight squeeze at all :D

No worries man! I figured you were busy as hell with business since the LC thing went down.

Its taken me forever just to get to this point... hell... I still have to order transformers... I think this is the first time in history I've had the head cab before the transformers... Talk about the cart before the horse...

Funk's post reminded me that he had already given us pictures of stuffed boards... a long time ago... dug this up... much clearer than my own in-place-pics.
