Hi guys. Can I get your advice on an OT for my D'Lite? Also, am I understanding the "reflected impedance" idea correctly?
Option 1.) CE Dist has a 50W, 2/4/8/ Ohm 4200 primary tranny for $46.75 (p/n P-TF18343). If I understand things correctly, this would be perfect for 6L6's, but if I used the 8 Ohm tap and ran a 16 Ohm speaker, the reflected impedance would be 8200, a little high for 6V6's, but wouldn't that work? (this way I can try my 16 Ohm Celesion in the amp)
Option 2.) AllenAmps.com has a Heyboer model TO40MT, 40 watts 4/8 Ohm 4000 for $60.00, which, if I understand correctly, again I could use for 6L6's at 4/8 Ohms, or 6V6's at 8/16 Ohms giving a reflected impendence of 8,000 (and allowing me to try my 16 Ohm Celestion).
Option 3) AllenAmps.com also has a Heyboer model T30D which is 4/8 Ohms at 3,500 Ohm primary for 6L6's and 8/16 Ohms at 7000 Ohms primary for 6V6's. Again, this would give me both the option of running 6L6's at 8 Ohms using my Eminence speaker, or 6V6 at 16 Ohms for the Celestion. This one's only $49.00.
I'd appreciate any input/advice, and any words of wisdom on whether I can just go running 6L6's and 6V6's by using different speaker load/secondary choices to change the reflected impedance.
Mark.

Re: output transformer question/advice?
Funkaliciousgroove (on this list) sold me a very good custom-wound Heyboer that is a bit more money than what you're describing, but sounds excellent and would also be a good match for EL34's/KT-77s if you wanted a different flavor. It sounds very good with 6L6's, too.

Approximately how much more was it? I guess I'm trying to keep costs down, while still keeping tone in mind.
