Every now and then it is fun to share some of the cabs that I build.
This one is built from a very nice piece of figured Cherry and it turned out great.
One rather cool feature of the cab is the amazing laser etched faceplate provided by Eric.. After seeing the results of this I am seriously considering buying a laser.
Due to the fact that the amp was built by Allyn Meyers I am sure it will sound as good as it looks.
Here are a few pictures and a link to several more..
First, I'd like to comment on your avatar, very groovy, I dig it.
In my "other life" I've been a millwright and a professional lumber grader on and off for 25 years now. That sir, is not only an exceptionally fine example of figured wood, ( I'd sell that as AAAA, and I'm a picky bastard), but the Joinery, and Finishing especially, are top notch. I particularly liked the way you bevelled the front plate down to the controll panel. Not only is it very visually appealing, making the cabinet look much more fluid and robust, but it was done really well, and shows off the wood far better than a simple flat front plate would have.
Kudos. And then some.

You do bring out the best is a piece of wood This one reminds me of a raging wildfire- kinda like a TW clone ought to be
And Eric's faceplate only adds to the beauty
That's class with a capital "C"
Hey guys, thanks for all the positive comments.
This cabinet really did turn out exceptionally well.
It is now setting in the hallway waiting for Fedex to take it to its new owner.
