First Announcement:-coming soon!

Post by Novelcaster »

Guys-

this is great news for all of you who are heading for "that tone"...

Quite frankly - forget about the schematics you may have found in the internet - you might be able to build something looking similar, sounding somehow similar....
Ever played a Dumble? Listening is one thing, but only though playing it you will feel the difference...however. Not an amp for beginners, that´s for sure.
It´s not been a voodoo kind of thing, but also - it was not easy, took some time, real craftmanship and also ideas

- for our intention was to not just clone a Dumble...

We finally made it.
And we are proud.
And will be ready to sell it. For a reasonable price, worldwide
- coming soon.

Questions? Just send an email.

kind regards
Kai Nelius

Hmmm, OK, I'll bite. Sell what? A new amp? We tend to like to build our own around here, no offense. I've played through a real Dumble, have you? I don't quite get your point.

You're a little late Novelcaster...several people here already 'made it, are proud of it, and do sell it, at a reasonable price'. If you stick around and read from some very knowledgeable folks around here (not me obv)...you might learn something.

And as mentioned already...this is amp builders forum.

Not to be unkind Kai but, as Fischerman pointed out this is a builders forum and as such, if you took the time to read some of the threads, many here have built Dumble clones and have been quite satisfied with the results.
Not to mention the half dozen or so commercial builders that make D clones and market them here successfully.
Also, how could it be economical for a amp builder in Germany to sell amps here in the USA?

Not trying to burst your bubble as you probably sell a great amp but lets be real.
Tom

Don't let that smoke out!

Lets not put the guy down until we see and hear what he has to offer.
He may have something 'like' a Dumble but has made some improvements that are noteworthy.Unless he misread the intent of this website altogether.
Should be interesting at the very least to see what he has in mind.
Crystal latice or vacuum, that is the question.

I agree, I didn't mean to come off negative Kai. It just didn't sound like you were too familiar with the Amp Garage aesthetic. I apologize if I came off as busting your chops right out of the gate. I'm interested in hearing what you have to offer, I'm just not too optimistic in seeing something new or even 'cost-effective' once you factor in shipping.

Hairyandy, don't feel too bad. Obviously, this fellow has no idea of the depth of knowledge on this forum. I was just chuckling... this dudes got some b%$$s saying that here and in his first post no less.

So...Kai...Whatcha got?

Yeah I was probably rash and harsh but I just read it as a sales pitch and assumed the motive was to sell amps but not to share anything.

I think I'll have baked beans with spam :)

must be a very BOLD sounding amp, according to your post...
