I hope to have more parts in next week and finish up writing the instructions. Shoot me a email or pm and I can send you the particulars. I will post it in the "For sale" section when I have everything ready to go.jzucker wrote:
Sounds great. When/where will this be available? Thanks for the help.

Getting back to the original post, KOC recommends a bootstrap MV for most of the Marshalls. If your amp's PA is the same as the Plexi or 800 then bootstrapping is just tying the ground from the MV pot to the bottom of the resistor hanging off the Cathode of the splitter.
Tut 4 has an excellent chapter on MVs that might give you a couple more options aswell.
Go for the Pwr Scaling. It's awesome.
The Soultone Amps also look fantastic w/some great whistles and bells - quite cheap for what you get.
Brown.

So is this a licensed London Power circuit? If yes the what is wrong with the London Power kit? If not how does it differ?UR12 wrote:I hope to have more parts in next week and finish up writing the instructions. Shoot me a email or pm and I can send you the particulars. Re: Master vol / power scaling for Plexi clone?
No this is my own circuit. It differs in a lot of ways and it is the same in a lot of ways. It was derived from public domain variable voltage regulator circuits that were using power mosfets. So in that respect it does the same thing. It uses a different scheme for tracking the bias with the B+ voltage and a different approach to current limiting on the mosfet. It works on amps 50W and below and uses less than 12 parts. The board can be configured for either cathode bias (3 wire hookup) or fixed bias (5 wire hookup).[img:714:402]http://users.zoominternet.net/~jdhall/a ... nished.JPG[/img]drz400 wrote:
