hi, I just completed my D'lite and love it. I have one 16 ohm speaker in it and I want to run my 4 ohm tremolux cab from the additional speaker out.
If i set my impedance switch at 8 ohms will that work out ??

4 ohms in parallel with 16 is ~ 3.2 ohms. So, you'd have a better match on the 4 ohm setting. You probably won't get very good balance between the speaker and the cab as most of the current will be going through the 4 ohm cab.

I see
My tremolux 2/10 cab has two 8 ohm speakers in parallel for a total of 4 ohms. so you are saying that the 16 ohm additional speaker would bring the total impedance down to 3.2 ohms. So the 4 ohm setting is the way to go.
Great got it

Re: I see
Yes, but remember that most of the power will go to the 4 ohm cab, and very little to the 16 ohm speaker.angelodp wrote:My tremolux 2/10 cab has two 8 ohm speakers in parallel for a total of 4 ohms. so you are saying that the 16 ohm additional speaker would bring the total impedance down to 3.2 ohms. Re: D'lite & multi speaker config
Rewire the 2x10 in series ... making it a 16 ohm load. Then both connected you could run an 8 ohm load and both cabinets would split the load.
You did say the original speaker was 16 ohm ... correct?
