Replica Vibroverb Build

Hello All,

Sorry for being a bit of a lurker over the last year, I thought it was about time I made my first post.

For a while now I've been collecting parts to build a replica AB763 FB Vibroverb and I'm not far for having enough parts to start the build.

I purchased the chassis form Solandfa in Thailand and really impressed with the quality.

Bought a set of transformers from TAD in Germany and most of the electronic parts, including a full set of Allen & Bradley resistors, Vishay sprague electrolytics and Sozo caps from HiFiCollective in the UK.

I will be building my own cab, so once the chassis arrived I measured and drew it all up in Fusion360 and just finalised the dimension drawings. I have some really nice American pine on order to be delivered next week and I plan to build the cabinet first so I can test fit the chassis whiles its still empty.

Once the cabinet is finished I will start on populating the boards before installing the transformers, valve bases, tone controls and switches then the install the populated boards before working on all the wiring.

Although there are many great examples of schematics and layouts already on here and on the internet, I still like to draw up my own as it helps to to really understand the amp before I start building. I will use many references and always cross reference, especially if I ever find discrepancies. I'll post my schematics on here but they will be untested until I finish the amp and can test it works.

Can't wait to start this build, I've been planning it for two years. The only parts I still need to buy are some of the cabinet fittings, the tubes and a speaker. I"m hoping I can find a good condition JLB D130F somewhere in the near future.
