Have you determined that the distortion you were hearing was caused by the Fryette?? How do you find the step filters?

Nope! I sent the Fryette out to a technician yesterday. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to crank the master to a level where I was hearing it. So I'm somewhat damned to wait till I get it back. The step filters work as promised. Very useable, predictable steps.
