A direct replacement with 2/4 and 8 ohm taps is a Mojotone 774/which is really a Hammond model 125A9.

Is there any reason I would want to go elsewhere ? Like Heyboer or some other ?
Hammond makes good quality trannies no ?
And if Hammond, any advantage of going trough Mojotone rather than directly from Hammond ?

M 774 looks like Heyboer to me, based on 996 EIA and "Made in USA" on the wiring diagram.

Hello --

If you dig into the transformer page at https://www.A1Parts.CA you'll find almost the entire Hammond line of tube parts including guitar amp reproductions. They make a Fender replica 50W 4k->2/4/8 Ohm that fits a Super. Their website truly feels C. 1994. However, I've found pricing (i.e., 25% less than Digikey typically) and service to fine. And they are on the Canada side of our border so no added hassles with duty & brokerage.

Hammond makes excellent transformers, including Fender reproduction power and output.
