No surprise that the style and illustrations in that Cunningham document look very similar to that of the RDH, published by RCA.

It's a great backstory. It seems that he persevered and went against the big players. Do you have any Cunningham tubes?

I don't. Cunningham's "Tubular Audio Tron" (a better version of De Forest's Audion) might be the origin of the US term "tube" as opposed to the British "valve" (after Fleming valve). This is ancient history, from the days when radio was the internet.
